Bus Simulator 27 pre-orders are open on Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Two paid editions sit on those storefronts, and one time-limited pack rides with both of them. Standard is $29.99. Year 1 Edition is $49.99 and bundles the game with the Year 1 Season Pass. Pre-order either SKU before the 8 September 2026 full launch and you also receive the Deluxe Pack: the HESS lighTram 12 Plug, the Alexander Dennis Enviro100EV, and four exclusive skins. That Deluxe grant ends at launch.

This page is a buyer guide, not a second copy of the release date calendar. If you only care about 3 September versus 8 September, read that article first. If you care about Intouro and FlixBus after launch week, skip ahead to the Year 1 Season Pass breakdown. The question here is simpler: which product should you actually put in a cart.

Standard Edition ($29.99)

Standard is the full game at the $29.99 list price used on Steam and Epic in US dollars. It is the SKU for players who want Felicia Bay, 45-plus licensed buses from 13 manufacturers, first-time coaches, company management, and four-player online co-op with crossplay, without paying extra for a year of DLC.

Standard still receives the Deluxe Pack if you pre-order it before the full launch. That is easy to miss. You do not need Year 1 to get the HESS lighTram 12 Plug, the Enviro100EV, or the four skins; you only need to complete a pre-order of either edition while the offer is running. After 8 September 2026, that free grant stops. Storefronts also list the Deluxe Pack as its own add-on, so late buyers may still be able to purchase those two buses later, but they will not get them as a pre-order extra.

Standard owners do not receive Advance Access. If your friends bought Year 1 and plan to drive on 3 September 2026, a Standard copy leaves you in the lobby until the 8th. Mixed groups should either standardize on Year 1 or wait together for the full launch.

Year 1 Edition ($49.99)

Year 1 Edition is the $49.99 bundle of the full game plus the Year 1 Season Pass. Publisher copy claims about a 16 percent save versus buying the game and the pass as separate products. Console storefronts can show different regional list prices; this wiki uses the $29.99 / $49.99 US PC figures as the reference pair.

That is the complete confirmed shopping list. The Intouro is a named coach DLC. The FlixBus expansion is a named branded coach drop later in the Year 1 cycle. Advance Access is the unique weekday perk. Five extra days in Felicia Bay only matter if you will actually play that week, want a save already running when Standard owners arrive, or sit in a co-op group that all bought Year 1. If you work long shifts on 3–7 September, the head start is a weaker reason to spend the extra $20 than the pass contents themselves.

Deluxe Pack contents

The Deluxe Pack is two licensed buses and four exclusive skins. The buses are the HESS lighTram 12 Plug and the Alexander Dennis Enviro100EV. Both are electric city vehicles, which is why they also appear in the electric buses tier list conversation rather than on the coach fleet page. Official copy describes the four skins as exclusive bus skins usable across the fleet; individual livery names have not been published, so we do not label them here.

Pre-order the Standard edition or the Year 1 Edition on any announced platform and the pack is included until launch. The offer is not Steam-only. PlayStation, Xbox, Epic, and Microsoft Store pre-orders use the same bonus language. When the full launch arrives on 8 September 2026, the free grant ends even if you buy the game an hour later.

Who should buy which

Buy Standard if you want the 8 September 2026 game, you are happy with launch coaches such as the Tourismo, Irizar i8, and Lion’s Coach, and you would rather add DLC later only if a specific bus pack looks good. Pre-order it before launch if you also want the Deluxe electrics and skins without paying Year 1 prices.

Buy Year 1 Edition if you want Advance Access on 3 September, you already know you will take the Intouro and the FlixBus expansion, and you prefer one checkout instead of watching Season Pass drops through 2026 and 2027. The 16 percent bundle claim is the publisher’s math, not a third-party price tracker. If you dislike season passes on principle, Standard plus a later a-la-carte Intouro is the cleaner fit, assuming that DLC stays sold separately after launch.

Skip Year 1 if the only extra you want is the Deluxe Pack. That pack is already attached to a Standard pre-order. Spending $49.99 solely for two city electrics and four skins is a poor use of the Year 1 SKU.

This wiki cannot promise a Standard-to-Year-1 upgrade path. If a storefront later sells an upgrade, we will note it here; until then, pick the edition you actually want.
