Felicia Bay Map Guide for Bus Simulator 27
Coastal Mequina, mountain-framed Alcaztelar, 20 districts, day/night, and weather — without invented place names.
Felicia Bay is the setting for Bus Simulator 27: a sunny fictional region in southern Europe inspired by Spain, Portugal, and the wider Iberian Peninsula. Official materials describe twin cities, 20 unique districts, dynamic weather, a full day and night cycle, and crowded streets running in Unreal Engine 5. This page stays inside that list. It does not invent district names, landmark titles, or a metro map Simteract has not published.
The playable sample is the Steam demo: one Mequina district on a city line, plus the coach corridor to Alcaztelar and back. Read the demo walkthrough for those missions. Use this page for geography and how it should change the bus you choose.
Twin cities
Mequina stretches along the coast. Alcaztelar sits between two mountain ranges. That contrast is the whole pitch. Coastal work is promenades, heat, tourists, and tight urban streets that suit a 12 m rigid such as the demo’s Solaris Urbino 12 electric. Inland work is gradients, passes, and longer links that suit the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo and the other coaches on coach routes.
You are supposed to connect the two. Cross-country routes stitch the cities to surrounding towns and villages. Scenic coastal roads and rugged mountain passes are the published scenery types along the way. Do not flatten that into one “city map” the way older numbered entries sometimes felt. Felicia Bay is a region.
Twenty unique districts
Official copy: more than 20 unique districts, each with its own character and notable landmarks, including the two lively cities. That is the entire named list. Secondary coverage sometimes guesses extra place names; this wiki will not copy those guesses. Until Simteract publishes a district roster, plan around types — coastal urban, inland urban, village, landscape, connecting road — not around a fake gazetteer.
The demo’s City Drive is “a Mequina district,” not the whole city. If the streets feel small, that is the slice, not the 8 September 2026 map. Year 1 Edition Advance Access starts 3 September 2026; even then, walk the region before you assume you have seen all twenty.
Landmarks, walking, and collectibles
Districts are “packed with exciting landmarks.” You can exit the bus and explore on foot for points of interest and hidden collectibles. Demo guidance talks about historical buildings, monuments, and nature sites unlocking when you interact with them. Those are categories, not a spoiler list. Sandbox is the mode official notes recommend for walking without a timetable. Story and Career still let you leave the cab; they just keep the company clock running.
On foot, WASD, Shift to run, and Space to jump are the demo defaults on the controls page. X leaves a passenger seat if you were riding instead of driving.
Weather, day and night, traffic
Dynamic weather and a full day/night cycle are listed features, not photo filters. They change stopping distances, wiper and light use, and how crowded a promenade feels. Bind lights and AC from the in-game list before you take a night coach. Heavy traffic is intentional. Accidents and roadworks can force a new path to the next stop. In-bus events sit on top of that. None of this is an excuse to skip the bus-computer login or the door loop in how to drive.
If the demo stutters when the street fills, that is the performance talking point from June 2026. Turn on DLSS or FSR via graphics settings and confirm the Steam spec on system requirements.
What to drive where
Coastal Mequina: start with city buses — rigid first, then articulated or double-decker on busier corridors once those models exist in your garage. Electric and hydrogen options are collected on electric buses (Urbino 12 electric in the demo; Urbino 18 hydrogen is Bus of the Year 2025 and listed for the full game).
Alcaztelar and the connecting roads: coaches. Tourismo in the demo; Irizar i8 and Lion’s Coach at launch; Intouro later as Year 1 DLC. Compare those bodies on the coach fleet page. Match the body to the road the way company management will expect when you assign lines.
Do not invent a 13th manufacturer. Confirmed brands are Solaris, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, IVECO BUS, Scania, Volvo, Alexander Dennis, Blue Bird, Vicinity Motor Corp, Ebusco, SAFRA, and HESS. Types include rigid, articulated, double-decker, electric, CNG, hydrogen, and coach. Powertrains are diesel, electric, CNG, and hydrogen. That roster is how 20 districts stay served without sending a Tourismo down a street built for a midibus.
Modes and multiplayer on the map
Story walks you through rebuilding the network with characters and contracts. Career lets you draw the same region as an economy. Sandbox is the playground for collectibles and favorite buses. Multiplayer lets up to four players split the map: one on a Mequina line, one on the coach, others on whatever district just unlocked. The demo cannot show that split.
For a first hour that includes the map without getting lost, use Getting Started. For every procedure page, use the guides hub. Edition and date context — full launch 8 September 2026, Deluxe Pack ending at launch — lives under release date and pre-order. Official videos and store pages are on links.
Felicia Bay is coast plus mountains plus the roads between them. Learn Mequina’s doors, then learn Alcaztelar’s distance. The rest of the twenty districts are why the full game is still the thing to wait for.
