Bus Simulator 27 Guides Hub

Demo routes, cab procedures, Felicia Bay geography, and launch-week company play in one index.

Guides Hub

Bus Simulator 27 is scheduled to launch on 8 September 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Year 1 Edition Advance Access starts 3 September 2026. Until that full launch, this hub indexes the driving, map, and company guides we can document from official materials and the playable Steam demo (app 4311090).

If you have not sat in a Felicia Bay cab yet, open Getting Started first. That page is the first-hour plan: spec check, demo order, controls, bus type, and edition choice. Use this hub when you already know you need a specific procedure.

Getting Started

The getting started guide separates Story, Career, and Sandbox so you do not treat the demo as a full company save. It also sends you to system requirements, the fleet hub, and pre-order editions before you spend $29.99 or $49.99.

Steam demo

The demo walkthrough is the practical route list: tutorial, City Drive in a Mequina district in the Solaris Urbino 12 electric, then long-distance Mequina to Alcaztelar and the return in the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo. It flags locked menu tiles, the 18 June 2026 DLSS and FSR patch, and the systems the slice cannot teach — route creator, 4-player sessions, and the full 45+ bus roster.

Controls

The controls list tables on-foot movement, driving, transmission and drive mode, doors, and camera keys from public demo bindings. Those assignments can change at launch. Pair it with steering wheels if you play with a wheel, then move to how to drive when you need stop procedure rather than hotkeys.

How to drive

How to drive is the service sequence: power, parking brake, bus-computer login, doors, stops, passengers, mirrors, timetable pressure, in-bus events, and the wheelchair ramp. City work in Mequina is not the same job as a coach leg toward Alcaztelar; the page keeps those two rhythms apart.

Company management

Company management covers routes, timetables, hiring drivers, assigning lines, wraps and ads, and restoring public-transport reputation after the story’s transit scandal. Full management stays locked in the demo. Read it as a launch-week briefing, then continue into multiplayer if you plan to share the company.

Multiplayer

The multiplayer guide explains 4-player online co-op with full crossplay across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A group can share one company, drive the same line together, or split onto different routes. Console online play may need a platform multiplayer subscription. The page does not invent invite menus that official trailers never showed.

Coach routes

Coach routes is the first-time coach explainer for this series. Confirmed long-distance models include the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo, Scania Irizar i8, and MAN Lion’s Coach. The demo’s Mequina–Alcaztelar run is the only playable intercity sample until 8 September 2026. Use it with the coach fleet page when you are comparing bodies, not just scenery.

Felicia Bay

The Felicia Bay map guide stays inside official geography: coastal Mequina, Alcaztelar between mountain ranges, 20 unique districts, day/night, and dynamic weather. It does not invent district names. Link out from there to city buses when you are choosing a rigid or articulated for street work.

Game modes, Story, and roles

Story, Career, and Sandbox are three playlists, not one save. The Story mode guide covers the transit-scandal rebuild and first contracts. Driver, inspector, and passenger explains ticket checks, riding along, and on-foot landmarks. PC extras sit on mod.io. Year 1 owners should also read Advance Access.

Other hubs

Fleet planning lives under tier list, including electric and hydrogen models. Dates and editions sit in updates: release date, pre-order, season pass, and demo patches. PC setup is in tools, especially graphics settings. Store and social destinations are collected on links.

Read one guide for the job in front of you. The demo teaches doors and drive mode; the full game still has to deliver the route creator, hired drivers, and the rest of the licensed fleet.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Bus Simulator 27.

Which Bus Simulator 27 guide should I open first?

Use Getting Started if you have not chosen an edition or run the demo. Jump to the demo walkthrough if Steam is already installing app 4311090.

Is the full game playable while these guides are being written?

The full launch is scheduled for 8 September 2026. Year 1 Edition Advance Access starts 3 September 2026. The Steam demo has been playable since 15 June 2026.

Do these pages cover console players?

Driving, map, and company systems are the same on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Default keys in the controls page come from the PC demo and may differ on a gamepad. The playable demo itself is the Steam build.

Bus types are ranked from the fleet hub. Standard versus Year 1 pricing is on the pre-order and season pass pages.
